A velvety soft, sweet 12 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery located just inside the Highlands region of Scotland. This expression from Glengoyne uses a trio of oak types in their cask types to meld together and create an exceptional single malt whisky. Natural, rich gold colour. On the nose there’s coconut oil, honey, lemon zest, dried oak. Very well balanced palate with notes of toffee apples, cinnamon spice, ginger, orange, shortbread. A hint of sherry and soft oak on the finish. The 12 year old shows the subtle, complex flavours of slow distillation and 12 years in exquisite wood.
