G’Vine Floraison is a French gin made in the Cognac region of France from a grape based spirit rather than grain. The grape neutral spirit is smoother and more heady than its grain cousin and provides a wonderful canvas for the gin botanicals. The Floraison incorporates the delicate vine flower which is macerated in a separate distillate immediately after picking then distilled in a small Florentine pot still. The botanicals are distilled separately in a 3 tier process and then the elements are blended together by hand. The subtle, aromatic vine flower together with the grape spirit soften the traditional juniper taste and make it a well balanced and full bodied gin.
