A blend of select aged rums, each being at least 15 years old, though some are much older are matured in 45 gallon oak casks in an ideal natural climate for ageing – within six degrees of the equator on the tropical north coast of South America. Deep gold in colour. Full nose of dark coffee, candied orange, almonds, dark chocolate, pepper and rich vanilla notes. The lush rounded texture opens to reveal chewy wood with deep, rich underlying fruit and mellow spice on the finish.
